Kirusha Srimohanarajah, P.Eng is an Electrical Engineer in the medical devices industry – specifically in neurosurgical devices. She is a nominee for this year’s Top 25 Voices in Healthcare Robotics. Her professional focus is integrating complex electronic systems into medical devices. Since joining Synaptive medical in 2014, she has been named as an inventor on over 58 patent applications - spanning image co-registration for navigated neurosurgery to novel visualization techniques - 18 of which have been granted. She has worn many hats ranging from doing design work on the Modus V™ robotic visualization platform to engineering for electromagnetic compatibility for compliance to industry standards. Kirusha is passionate about advancing the standard of care through medical innovation. She is the alumni founder of the MedTech Grant for the Advancement of Women's Health at the University of Waterloo - her Alma Mater.
