SFF Debate Competition - Fall 2022
The
Fall
2022
SFF
Debate
competition
will
be
held
on
Wednesday,
November
23
starting
at
5:30
pm
(E.T.).
The
competition
will
be
held
in-person
in
E5
6004.
All
engineering
students
are
eligible
to
participate,
but
you
must
participate
in-person.
Engineering
students
are
invited
to
register
in
teams
of
two.
A
team
can
consist
of
students
from
two
different
engineering
disciplines,
if
desired.
No
previous
debating
experience
is
necessary.
Members
of
the
winning
team
will
receive
$200
each
and
will
be
invited
to
represent
the
University
of
Waterloo
at
the
Ontario
Engineering
Competition
in
January
2023
to
be
hosted
by
the
University
of
Western
Ontario.
Members
of
the
2nd
place
team
will
receive
$100
each
and
will
be
invited
to
represent
the
University
of
Waterloo
at
the
Ontario
Engineering
Competition
if
the
winning
team
is
unable
to
compete.

Noon

with
the
names,
student
numbers,
and
emails
of
the
two
members
in
your
team.
Please
note
that
the
competition
will
be
limited
to
no
more
than
8
teams,
so
teams
are
encouraged
to
register
early.
Competitors
will
be
provided
with
additional
information
on
the
competition
format
prior
to
the
event.
