Pop Up Class #1: Problem Identification: The “start” in startup

Successful startups are rarely based on a great idea - instead, they are founded on solving a significant problem. In this class you will understand how to use the community to identify deep problems, ensure there is a market fit, vet ideas or check current ideas towards solving this problem with industry experts and investors.

  • Session Leaders: Alex Ausch, Connie Chen, Rosco Hill, Zemfira Khisaeva, Lyon Wong and Rebecca Yu. Read their bios here.
  • Who should attend? Any student (undergrad or grad) interested in founding a startup to solve an important problem - but needs some expert insight on identifying what these important problems are in our increasingly complex world.
