The Waterloo Engineering alumni class reunion in 2024 is taking place on May 31 and June 1, 2024 at Alumni Weekend. The engineering Classes of 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019 are invited to campus to celebrate this milestone in their engineering career.

Tom has been an engineering hiring manager for the past 35 years and has been coaching chemical engineering undergraduate students on the hiring process for the past decade, prior to retiring four months
During the Esch Pitch Competition, ten outstanding Capstone design project teams, shortlisted from over 50 entries representing all Engineering departments, compete for $60,000 in funding. The Esch Awards support creative and entrepreneurial students who are pursuing research and development and its commercialization for the benefit of Canada.
After each pitch, judges will conduct a live “Dragon’s Den” style Q&A. Come to hear the pitches and cheer on your favourite design team!
