10 early-stage startups have practiced and perfected their 3-minute pitches and are ready to compete at the finals! Join us for an exciting Velocity Fund Finals $5K where emerging student entrepreneurs pitch live for their share of $20K in funding. Each competitor has just 3 minutes to pitch their early-stage startup to a panel of esteemed judges.
The Spring 2019 $5K pitch competition will be held at the University of Waterloo’s Student Life Centre (SLC) on Thursday, July 18. It will feature 10 student teams as finalists and a fireside chat on startup hard truths.
After the fireside chat, we will take a quick lunch break and then dive right into the pitches! Audience members will have the chance to network with all 10 finalists after the winners are announced.
