Abstract

This talk will focus on the three projects being pursued at the Walker Environmental landfill in Niagara Falls, Ontario through our landfill gas utilization partnership, Integrated Gas Recovery Services (IGRS).

  1. General Motors (GM) Landfill gas to energy (LFGTE)– 6.4 MW of behind-the-meter electrical generation and 8 MW of thermal waste heat recovery to reduce the GM St. Catharines facility carbon footprint by 77%
  2. Walker Niagara Campus LFGTE – 3 MW behind-themeter generation project to reduce onsite electrical loads
  3. High BTU/Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) – Upgrading and Scrubbing the LFG to produce pipeline quality RNG

There will be a question and answer session at the end of this lecture. All are welcome, but space is limited!
