Abstract
This
talk
will
focus
on
the
three
projects
being
pursued
at
the
Walker
Environmental
landfill
in
Niagara
Falls,
Ontario
through
our
landfill
gas
utilization
partnership,
Integrated
Gas
Recovery
Services
(IGRS).
- General Motors (GM) Landfill gas to energy (LFGTE)– 6.4 MW of behind-the-meter electrical generation and 8 MW of thermal waste heat recovery to reduce the GM St. Catharines facility carbon footprint by 77%
- Walker Niagara Campus LFGTE – 3 MW behind-themeter generation project to reduce onsite electrical loads
- High BTU/Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) – Upgrading and Scrubbing the LFG to produce pipeline quality RNG
