Biosketch:

Dr. Emily Patterson is an associate professor in the Division of Health Information Management and Systems in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, College of Medicine at the Ohio State University. She also holds a courtesy appointment in the college of nursing. She received her PhD in Industrial Systems Engineering in 1999 and does research on human factors engineering, patient safety, and informatics.
