The Recent Engineering Alumni Council (REAC) invites you to an evening of trivia and pub fare at Hemingway's Restaurant & Bar. Team up with friends or join solo to test your knowledge, compete for bragging rights, and reconnect with fellow engineering alumni over food and drinks. Space is limited so sign up early!

Waterloo Engineering's Ambassador team is a group of trained undergraduate student leaders offering prospective students a personal, informational, and engaging connection to Waterloo Engineering. The ambassadors have a personal impact on our future students, informing their decision-making by sharing their experiences and knowledge as current students.

The Recent Engineering Alumni Council (REAC) invites alumni to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays as they take on the St. Louis Cardinals on September 13. Tickets include a ticket to the game in section 517 and a limited edition Blue Jays and University of Waterloo co-branded tumbler.

From September 2024 - November 2024, the Waterloo Engineering Recruitment and Admissions team will host webinars highlighting important information that future students need to know about applying to Engineering at the University of Waterloo. In "Which Waterloo Engineering Program is Right for You?" you'll discover our 15 programs in the Faculty of Engineering. Join current students, program advisors and admissions team representatives as they provide an overview of each program and answer your questions during a live Q&A.

From September - November 2024, the Waterloo Engineering admissions & recruitment team will host webinars covering everything you need to know about applying to Engineering at the University of Waterloo! Presenters will include the Director or Associate Director of Admissions, as well as current students who have been through the admissions process themselves.

The session on Tuesday, September 24 from 10am - 11am ET is for guidance counsellors/advisors who will be supporting students through the Engineering and/or Mathematics undergraduate application process. We will discuss admission processes and changes this year as well as highlight some important deadlines for your students.

Learn about the admissions process, including application details, tips for your Admissions Information Form (AIF), and more! Our panelists will feature the Director or Associate Director of Admissions and current students who have successfully navigated the process. This session will be offered twice to accommodate students across various time zones.

Join the Sexual Violence Prevention & Response Office (SVPRO) on Thursday Oct 3 from noon – 1pm to build consent culture from the ground up! This virtual lunch and learn will discuss and answer questions about the importance of talking to young children about consent, setting boundaries, and using the proper names for body parts to help build a culture of respect and consent. Although the session specifically focuses on young children, many of the ideas and suggestions are transferrable to older children. Resources and slides Provided.

“It’s never too early and it’s never too late to begin talking about consent”

The Faculties of Engineering, Mathematics and Science are delighted to host an alumni reception in Seattle in October. At this games night and social, you will enjoy great food and refreshments as well as fun games (unlimited mini golf and duffleboard) while you personally connect with your University of Waterloo classmates as well as students on work terms in Seattle and area.

Cost is $20 CND per person. Each ticket includes one drink, appetizers and games.
