Recipients of the 2015 Waterloo Engineering Faculty and Staff awards were recognized for outstanding contributions to education and research at an awards dinner held January 28.
The Faculty’s Teaching Excellence Award that recognizes outstanding teaching and commitment to the enrichment of Waterloo Engineering education was presented to James Craig of civil and environmental engineering, Alexander Wong of systems design engineering and Sean Peterson of mechanical and mechatronics engineering.

There were two recipients of the Outstanding Staff Performance Award in the technical category. Richard Morrison, civil and environmental engineering, was recognized for his professionalism, excellent work ethic and commitment to providing an outstanding student lab experience. Ray White, engineering computing, was honoured for his professionalism, excellent work ethic and commitment to providing outstanding technical support to the faculty, staff and student body.
