Three professors at Waterloo Engineering have been awarded a total of almost $1.9 million in funding to collaborate with Canadian-based companies and government organizations on strategic research projects.
Guang Gong (electrical and computer engineering - $557,150), Hamid Jahed (mechanical and mechatronics engineering - $747,000) and Yuning Li (chemical engineering - $582,000) were among six campus-wide researchers named today for Strategic Partnership Grants through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council.
