Message from spring Student Council President

Welcome back to Grebel!

I’m Sage, the Student Council President this spring term. I, along with the Student Council and Larger Leadership team, am thrilled to be starting a bright, action-packed term with you all!

I know that I, for one, am eagerly anticipating the warm weather, casual campfires, and impassioned veebs. Our student leadership will be working throughout the term to ensure that we all get time to step away from the academic work we’re focusing on for some time spent with friends (and folks that will be friends soon!)

For everyone coming into your first spring term, I’m excited to share this unique time in the academic year. On the StuCo end of things, summer is a time where we often get to try new things, rather than the more traditional schedules of events we have in fall and winter. I’m excited to get to see your vision on what summer at school can look like so let us know if there are any events you're hoping to be a part of!

If you’re interested in trying out student leadership, this term is a great opportunity to engage with that in a bit of a more casual way, and we have plenty of open positions just waiting to be filled. If you’re more interested in relaxing and going with the flow, don’t let that stop you from reaching out to me or my team with your ideas and wildest dreams.

With great joy and anticipation,
Sage Buist (they/them)
Your Student Council President
