The resources provided to MCEC pastors this year, “Going Deeper into  Scripture,” and “Deep Calls to Deep,” explain how people can experience Scripture in different ways.

Join the Grebel Community for a special virtual chapel service to celebrate the arrival of our new hymnal Voices Together. This special service is open to the public and will feature a homiletic reflection by Distinguished Alumni award winner Sarah Johnson. The service will include music and worship resources from Voices Together. 

Three cookies baked by local Old Order Mennonite women in 1984 lie in a box at the Mennonite Archives of Ontario. How they came to be here involves a patent dispute, a famous cookbook author, and a series of events that inspired a stage production and screenplay. Join Peace and Conflict Studies and the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement on Tuesday, March 30, 7:30pm-9:30pm for a virtual production of “Unmute” by Theatre of the Beat. Unmute is a forum theatre piece that addresses the rise of domestic violence and gender-based assault during COVID-19. While a family’s life may seem normal from the other side of the screen, abuse is lurking behind closed doors. Immerse yourself in this important and timely piece that gives audience members the chance to rehearse scenarios for real life.

END OF TERM CONCERTS are an important part of Ensembles that we have really been missing, so towards that end we are holding a VIRTUAL CONCERT.  The Balinese Gamelan Ensemble, Chapel Choir, Choirs@UWaterloo, Integrated Instrumental Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble will all be participating.  Stay tuned for further details.
