Winter Residence Rooms at UWaterloo

You have come to the right residence because Grebel is a multi-year community! There are a lot of upper-years living here. Grebel’s residence is not only for first years - and never has been! This also means that you could live at Grebel in future years too.

Grebel is ready to welcome new students in January! We have a team of students planning events for the first week of winter term. These events will help you get to know people right away. Plus, Grebel is a small residence, so you will meet everyone VERY quickly and make fast friendships!

You can visit in-person or virtually. Just contact Gemma, Student Life and Recruitment Coordinator. She will get you all set up to experience Grebel! In the meantime, check out this video. 

We get it. Residence is expensive. Your 4-month fee will be $6,145 and that includes EVERYTHING! Your meal plan, sports team participation (refunded if not used), social clubs, and the perk of being minutes away from your classes. Time is money too!

It’s easy. Fill out the online application. Bullet point, or short answers are fine. Grebel will then invite you for a conversation so you can get to know Grebel and Grebel can get to know you. This can be done over Zoom or in-person so you can come see the space!
