The First Annual Eastern Canada Student Energy Conference will be hosted jointly by the UW and UofT Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Chapters.
This conference is an annual event where students from Eastern Canada can learn about the complexities, challenges and realities of the oil and gas industry, build their networks and foster their passion.
It will include the following technical seminars led by industry experts:

On Thursday, October 23rd, 2014, Professor Henry S. White, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Dean of College of Science of the University of Utah, United States, will deliver a WIN Distinguished Lecture on "Single-Molecule DNA Enzymatic Analysis Using a Protein Nanopore".
This lecture is free and open to the public.

The WIN Nano Graduate Student Seminar Series provides an opportunity for nanotechnology graduate students of WIN members to present and discuss their research, to help foster knowledge exchange and dialogue between researchers and across disciplines.
