Previously known as the Velocity Fund $5K, the Concept $5K Grant provides funding in a way that is impactful to students by incorporating pitch experience into its funding program. Students are eligible to apply to pitch an early-stage startup idea to qualify for a chance to win one of four $5,000 grants.

The Co-op Problem Lab Award is earned by providing the best analysis of an important problem relevant to a co-op employer or the employer’s industry.

The competition invites teams of up to 4 students to choose an important industry problem, and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact, before pitching the findings to a panel of judges on November 14th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding.
