The Indigenous & Black Engineering and Technology (IBET) PhD Project is a partnership of almost 15 Canadian universities committed to reducing the systemic barriers that exist for Indigenous and Black scholars pursuing doctoral degrees in STEM programs.

Scientists of all backgrounds and genders, have made important contributions in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), but the participation of women remains low in many areas of STEM, including physics.

Women’s pelvic floor disorders: half of all women will suffer from them and little is said about this silent epidemic. How breakthroughs in technology are making a difference.
