Supporting Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Engineering Research: Working Toward Positive Change
Underrepresented and equity‐seeking groups face barriers to inclusion in research, particularly at the postgraduate levels. It is incumbent upon engineering faculty members to seek to diminish and remove these barriers. To this end, the federal tri‐council has established the Dimensions Program to help us understand and address barriers to participation in research that are related to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
