Join us at the Social Impact Showcase on December 5th, where we will be celebrating the diversity of our GreenHouse innovators and their journeys in social innovation and entrepreneurship. We will be announcing grants for some early-stage, high-potential ideas, and the Social Impact Fund winners will be sharing their stories.
Please join us on the slopes to ski or snowboard at this exclusive and beautiful private resort! Once again this year, we are partnering with the Faculty of Science and Science alumni will join us on the hills.

Join your fellow Waterloo Engineering classmates for a casual evening of networking and catching up over light refreshments. In the spirit of the Kitchener-Waterloo German heritage and Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest tradition, we thought it fitting to host this event at an authentic German Biergarten, the Wirtshaus German Restaurant and Biergarten.
The Canadian Coastal Resilience Forum and the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change are pleased to present our inaugural documentary screening of the film Anthropocene: The Human Epoch. A cinematic meditation on humanity’s massive reengineering of the planet, ANTHROPOCENE: The Human Epoch is a four years in the making feature documentary film from the multiple-award winning team of Jennifer Baichwal, Nicholas de Pencier and Edward Burtynsky.
All Systems Design Engineering alumni are invited back to campus for our annual Systems Design / Biomedical Engineering lunch, lecture, and capstone design symposium. Join us for a complimentary lunch, reconnect with the department, and enjoy a cutting-edge research presentation exclusively for Systems Design Engineering alumni.
Biomedical Engineering's Capstone Design Symposium will showcase the latest biomedical innovations from final year Engineering students. Students will present and discuss their research from 1:00pm to 4:00pm with visual aids and tactile materials or prototypes to illustrate their research.
For more information on all the research projects that will be presented, please see the 2020 Systems Design Engineering Capstone Design Projects page and discover the symposium for yourself on March 12 in Pearl Sullivan Engineering.
