University approves $88-million Engineering 7 building
The University of Waterloo’s Board of Governors has approved the construction of a new $88-million Engineering 7 (E7) building.
The 230,000-square-foot, seven-storey building will house Waterloo Engineering’s ongoing transformation of how it delivers education to students.

Drew Higgins, a chemical engineering doctoral candidate, has been awarded the grand prize in the 2014 Dr. Bernard S. Baker Student Researcher Award for Fuel Cell Research. The purpose of the award is to encourage and recognize exceptional student research relating to fuel cell technologies.
