Eric was the founder of smartwatch pioneer Pebble Technology, acquired by Fitbit in 2016. Eric will cover some of the myths that exist around starting startups, what you should do while you’re still in school if you want to start a company, and he’ll talk about how YC can help you get started. He’ll also spend time answering your questions.

The tradition continues on July 10, 2020 at 12:00 pm (ET) to celebrate Engineering Day with our incredible community of students, alumni, professors and staff. This year's activities, steamed live on YouTube on the Waterloo Engineering channel, will include a DJ playing fun music, hosted by the Presidents of EngSoc, a social media contest for purpling, appearances by special guests, throw a pie in the face of your professor, and so much more.
