Abstract: Mihaela Vlasea, a researcher at the University of Waterloo’s Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory, has developed a new additive manufacturing system capable of producing parts ranging from bone and dental implants to lightweight porous materials. She will speak about the incredible advances taking place in additive manufacturing and some of the opportunities emerging in this field.
