Hosted by Waterloo Engineering, the Waterloo Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge encourages students to design and test their own electric car in an annual endurance competition. This years competition is scheduled for May 28, 2016. More than a dozen teams from around Ontario will attend this year's event.
UWaterloo Statistics Club and Data Science Club are jointly hosting an introductory talk on the Data Science framework and Machine Learning presented by Andrew Andrade. Andrew Andrade's background is in statistical manufacturing and data driven production optimization where he worked for start-ups and companies such as PetroCanada (Suncor) and Facebook before founding PetroPredict.

Students must fill out seminar attendance sheet and get it signed by faculty member in room at end of session. Poster session to be held between 11-12pm on 1st floor atrium.
