Join us for the FIRST Robotics Competition, Waterloo Regional, hosted at the University of Waterloo in the Physical Activities Complex. Thirty-two high-school teams from across Ontario and the US will converge on the University of Waterloo for the three-day competition, where they will demonstrate their robot in this year's challenge, FIRST Stronghold.

The event is open to the public and admittance is free. Final rounds will occur on Saturday afternoon.

All activities start in J.R. Coutts Engineering Lecture Hall (RCH)

10:00am - 4:00pm: Waterloo Engineering admissions & co-op sessions (40 min presentations, 10am, 11am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm)

The conference is the highlight event for grade 10 girls. This close-knit community of like-minded individuals will work together to expand their knowledge of computer science and software development.

What to expect
This conference is a 4 day, action-packed with workshops, mentors, workplace visits, and fun outings.

This is your opportunity to see Waterloo Engineering's world-class facilities, learn about programs and student life, and have your important questions answered!

Our current student ambassadors will be available to share their valuable first-hand knowledge. Faculty, admissions, co-op, and other supportive staff will also be on hand to share their expertise.

The FIRST Robotics Competition Waterloo District is held each year at the University of Waterloo in March. In 2017 — the 13th year of the Waterloo Regional — 32 teams will compete at Waterloo for a chance to go to St. Louis and compete in the FIRST World Championships.
