ECE team takes a top award in Valeo Innovation Challenge
Three Waterloo Engineering students have returned from France with a prize of 10,000 euros in their back pockets, thanks to an invention that helps vehicles communicate with each other to enhance passenger safety.

Drew Higgins, a chemical engineering doctoral candidate, has been awarded the grand prize in the 2014 Dr. Bernard S. Baker Student Researcher Award for Fuel Cell Research. The purpose of the award is to encourage and recognize exceptional student research relating to fuel cell technologies.
