Current undergraduate students

Conrad Grebel University College honours graduates who have lived and studied at Grebel while completing their University of Waterloo degree programs. This special Convocation takes place several weeks prior to the University of Waterloo Convocations where the official degrees are conferred. Faculty, staff, students, and families celebrate this significant accomplishment together.

Five different Chamber Ensembles, and sixteen talented musicians using 5 different instruments.  A lovely way to spend a Winter evening.  Directed by Ben Bolt-Martin.  Free Admission, reception to follow.

The UWaterloo Jazz Ensemble will perform a mix of jazz standards from Gordon Goodwin, Count Basie, Wayne Shorter, Duke Ellington, and more.  Directed by well know percussionist Michael Wood, the ensemble consists of 15 UW jazz aficionados. 
Reception to follow, complimentary parking for the event.

Directed by Dr. Maisie Sum and featuring Grebel Artist-in-Residence I Dewa Made Suparta, the UW Balinese Gamelan and the Grebel Community Gamelan will perform a mix of contemporary pieces and traditional classics.  Come find out why people who love music are fascinated by the gamelan.

Free admission, and a chance to try the gamelan yourself after the concert.

This concert will feature new works for saxophone and piano including  two suites by Waterloo composers Boyd McDonald and Joanne Bender. The performers will be Willem Moolenbeek, saxophone and Boyd McDonald, piano.
