"It’s a Musical!” Grebel's production of “Something Rotten” will take the stage this weekend at Theatre of the Arts in Modern Languages. In this musical comedy, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are playwrights stuck in the shadow of William Shakespeare. To save their floundering theatre troupe, they hire an eccentric soothsayer who predicts that the future of theatre is… the Musical! This show is jam-packed with Shakespearean and 20th-Century musical references.
