Invited teams of Engineering students will be competing for a surprise Challenge Game theme when they arrive at QNC-1507, for half-hour to earn House (Engineering Departments) points, for the Spring 2018 season (there are four Thursdays scheduled over lunch hour this Spring season).
You and your family are invited to attend this open house for students who have received an offer of admission to Waterloo.

Engineering Explorations is an open house event organized by the Engineering Outreach Office. Explorations is an opportunity to come and discover Waterloo Engineering and get hands-on with family focused engineering activities geared toward Gr. 1-8 students.
The Operations Research Challenge (TORCH) is a free, one-day contest designed to introduce high school students to Operations Research, a field that tackles many of today's complex decision-making problems through the use of engineering, computer science, and mathematics.
TORCH 2018 will be held on March 17, 2018 at the University of Waterloo with over $1000 in prizes.

This presentation will identify Canadian Net Zero homes of today and provide insight into the future. Areas discussed will include findings and lessons learned pertaining to both the building envelope and mechanical design. The presenter will discuss the requirements of the Canadian Home Builder Associations Net Zero program and give an overview of specific Net Zero projects the Building Knowledge team has assisted and designed.
Alumni, students, employers, industry partners, media, and members of the general public are invited to join us on campus from March 12-23, 2018 to experience Waterloo Engineering's Capstone Design symposia.
