Invited teams of Engineering students will be competing for a surprise Challenge Game theme when they arrive at QNC-1507, for half-hour to earn House (Engineering Departments) points, for the Spring 2018 season (there are four Thursdays scheduled over lunch hour this Spring season).

Professor Donald McKayAnne Bordeleau, O’Donovan Director of the School of Architecture, invites alumni, students, friends and the community to a reception at the Cambridge campus to celebrate the illustrious teaching career of professor Donald McKay.

After the reception, there is an opportunity to hear professor McKay deliver “The Last Lecture”.

Engineers Without Borders Public Lecture and Reception

The co-founders of the world-renowned humanitarian organization Engineers Without Borders, George Roter (BASc 1999) and Parker Mitchell (BASc 1999), will deliver a public lecture titled "Global Impact One Engineer at a Time: Why we Founded Engineers Without Borders" about their journey from their time as engineering students at the University of Waterloo, to the founding of Engineers Without Borders and its global impact, and their careers since and beyond.
