Badge Day

Girl Guides are invited to the University of Waterloo to earn their Computer Skills Badge! Complete all the requirements through fun and interactive activity stations led by university students and staff. In addition to completing the badge requirements, the guides will also engage with inspiring mentors who demystify the university experience and technology careers.

WE Go.DEsign

WE Go.DEsign is a two day Engineering Design and Research Competition for women currently enrolled in grades 10 and 11 presented by the Goethe-Institut. The Grand Prize will be a language, engineering and culture trip to Germany during Summer 2017! There are two elements to the competition, a Research Symposium and a Design Challenge. Each element will be judged by Goethe-Institut and University of Waterloo faculty and staff, with prizes awarded in each element.

Waterloo Alumni Angels Inaugural Event

Alumni investors and alumni start-ups are invited to the inaugural event of the Waterloo Alumni Angels in Toronto. We'll be holding our first pitch event on March 7 and we have some of UWaterloo's best up-and-coming start-ups eager to pitch to a room full of UWaterloo's most successful accredited investor alumni.

The evening includes networking, making connections, pitches and a fireside chat where the speakers share their criteria and approach when considering new investments.
