In celebration of Grebel’s 50 years of Inspiring Mind and Spirit, the Grebel Ambassadors are hosting a Conrad Grebel (the person) themed event! If you have participated in any of the 50th Anniversary events thus far you might have noticed the life sized cardboard cut-out of Conrad Grebel. He has been making special appearances all over campus (!) and will be the focus for this event. Intrigued? Me too!
What: The Search for Connie G
Who: Sr. Youth (grades 9-???)
Details: The Grebel Ambassadors are planning a game which will have you and your students traveling around campus searching for Connie G in a “where’s Waldo” style of event. They will look for him in class, in chapel, having dinner, playing games and of course being silly and having a great time. Rain or shine, come prepared with a smart phone set-up with a twitter account. All photos with Conrad Grebel will be tweeted into a special account we are setting up for this event! More details about this will come the day of the event.
We ask students to pay $5. Sponsors/leaders are FREE! Our thanks to you for all the work you do. We will provide a *more than you can eat* pizza dinner, veggies, drinks and cookies.
We don’t need exact numbers but knowing group size with in 2 or 3 participants is helpful for ordering food! We typically have ~120 people for this event.
