Celebrate the publication of Reina Neufeldt's new book, Ethics for Peacebuilders: A Practical Guide (Peace and Security in the 21st Century Series, Rowman & Littlefield, 2016).
This concert will explore chamber music repertoire by two Canadian composers: Seven Tableaux from the Song of Songs by Srul Irving Glick, and Songs, composed by Grebel alumna Erica de la Cruz, setting poetry by University of Waterloo Professor Sarah Tolmie.

The JUNO nominated Orchid Ensemble is Lan Tung on the erhu/Chinese violin, Xiao Mei Zhu on the zheng/Chinese zither, and Jonathan Bernard on percussion. The ensemble blends ancient musical instruments and traditions from China and beyond, creating a beautiful new sound.

Amy Waller Prince, a well-known local soprano, will be performing works from Verdi, Strauss, Dvorak, and Greer. Ms. Prince recently received a Doctorate of Music from Indiana University. She has performed many operatic roles, including Rosalind in Die Fledermaus, and Mabel in the Pirates of Penzance.
Jeremy Bergen will be presenting the Benjamin Eby Lecture on November 3, 2016 at 7:30pm in the Conrad Grebel University College Chapel.
Christians Killing Christians: Martyrdom and the Disunity of the Church
Cynthia Hiebert has performed both traditional and contemporary harpsichord works in Canada, the United States and England. This concert will feature works from the time of Shakespeare to Jimi Hendrix.
