Stories from the Mennonite box
Over 70 years ago, historian Lewis J. Burkholder traveled the province to collect a "Mennonite box" of documents. His box, now the Mennonite Archives of Ontario, continues to expand with over 780 linear metres of papers, photographs, audio and film recordings. Our new "Mennonite box" will triple our capacity to store and preserve these records. Spaces will be created for displays and enabling technologies.
