Support the Grebel Fund today

Planting seeds for tomorrow.

Right now at Grebel, something exciting is taking root.

A new cohort of students is more than halfway through their first term. They are forming friendships that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. They are laying the groundwork of knowledge and relationships that will shape the world in extraordinary and everyday ways.

Seasonally, we’re well into fall and winter is coming. The harvest is complete. Plants and animals are bracing for the cold. Even the geese on campus are getting quieter!

Yet, at Grebel, the soil is being tilled, and seeds are taking root in our students.
This kind of hopeful fruitfulness in a dim landscape is deeply woven into the Grebel culture.

When Grebel opened in 1963, many contemporary concerns from that time echo our present reality: a growing threat of nuclear or environmental catastrophe, dramatic political upheaval, and increasing fears about technology threatening or replacing humans (just to name a few).  And yet, our founders and students had the courage to build and grow in such tumultuous times.

As you read this, our students are continuing in that holy work of building and growing. They are not overcome by hopelessness; they are not passive. They are leaning into curiosity and fellowship. We all need to be reminded of their example from time to time. Your support is a crucial part of this process.

Would you help nurture our students today through a financial gift to the Grebel Fund?

A donation helps ensure that students continue to experience the kind of community and learning that shapes who they become, and how they live in the world. This happens through experiences like service trips and internships, guest speakers, the Chaplaincy, musical ensembles, scholarships, financial aid, and many other formational programs for our students. These funded opportunities come together to shape the Grebel community and ensure students have a meaningful and life-giving university experience.

We hope you will consider making a gift today. If this is not the right time for you to give, please know how grateful we are for your past support. Grebel continues to rely on the generosity of donors such as you to ensure that we can offer a unique community and learning experience for students.

When you choose to support Grebel, you are helping young adults grow into thoughtful, compassionate leaders who bring the fruits of their Grebel experience into their families, workplaces, and communities.

We thank you for your consideration and support.

Blessings,
