Hosted by Waterloo Engineering, the Waterloo Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge encourages students to design and test their own electric car in an annual endurance competition. This years competition is scheduled for May 28, 2016. More than a dozen teams from around Ontario will attend this year's event.

Abstract:
In this talk, I will show how we can harness the synergy between programming languages and verification methods to help programmers build reliable software, prove complex properties about them, and scale verification to industrial projects.

An annual exhibition showcasing outstanding student projects from each undergraduate studio program at Waterloo Architecture in the 2015 - 2016 academic year. Significant projects chosen from Masters Students.

On May 3rd join us for an in-depth discussion of Submeter and Circuitmeter technology and major role they play in analyzing energy usage and helping management of industrial and commercial facilities to use energy more efficiently.

The 2016 Water Institute RBC Distinguished Lecturer is Dr. Jay Famiglietti, University of California, Irvine and California Institute of Technology. His lecture will be on the topic of Water and sustainability: 21^st Century realities and the global groundwater crisis.

This is a free public lecture.
