On Saturday March 16 from 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m., the University of Waterloo and Impact Alliance will be teaming up to host the Global Solutions Conference!

All Mechatronics Engineering alumni are invited to the Waterloo Engineering alumni event TronCon to connect with mechatronics engineering current students as well as fellow mechatronics classmates. 

Students and alumni are invited to participate in an exclusive Office Hour with engineering alumnus Mike Lee (BASc '88, Mechanical Engineering), the president of Fundica.com and president of R&D Partners.

Learn about the emerging engineering field, synthetic biology at the 4th annual Synthetic Biology Symposium, SynBio 4.0. Training workshops, research talks, and a poster session will be held over two and a half days May 26-28th.

Events are open to industry, faculty and post docs - please register to attend to ensure there is enough pizza for everyone!

The goals of the events are to:

• Support faculty research networking
• Provide an opportunity to create teams to apply for major grants under a given theme

10:30 - Poster setup, coffee, networking

11:00 - Lab Ignite pitch presentations (3-5 minutes each)
