Grebel teaches within the Arts faculty at the University of Waterloo, administering the Music and Peace and Conflict Studies programs at Waterloo, and offering additional undergraduate courses in Arts, History, Mennonite Studies, Sociology, and Religion, Culture, and Spirituality. Grebel offers master's degrees in Theological Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies.

These questions, and so many more, prompted thoughtful discussion at Conrad Grebel University College in mid-March.
Culture Fest Celebrates Student Research
Undergraduate students from a range of culture-related programs in the Faculty of Arts gathered on March 5 for Culture Fest, to share research that they had completed for one of their classes. There were 10 presentations, spanning a great variety of topics. Each student had three minutes, supported by two slides, to explain their research, followed by time for questions from a receptive audience. The presentations were rich and diverse, prompting lively discussions during the informal social time that concluded the event.
Dreaming a Bigger World Experience
Imagine the dreams that become possible when financial barriers are removed for students. Senator V. Peter Harder (BA 1975, Hon. LLD 2005) has committed $50,000 annually to support University of Waterloo undergraduate and graduate students connected to Conrad Grebel University College who are pursuing international learning opportunities. His advice is simple: “Think global. Global literacy is something you need to experience, not just study.”

Five Map the System finalists will present their system maps to a panel of judges during this campus finals event. The winning team will have the opportunity to compete in the Global Finals at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford in July.
