Software Engineering (SE) Applicants
If you are an SE student wishing to transfer into Computer Science (BCS or BMath) or into another plan within the Faculty of Math then please read below:

SE students should first consult with the SE Director before considering a transfer to CS. Following this applicants can contact the Math Internal Transfer advisor to discuss the application process, course equivalencies and co-op eligibility. Questions regarding the remaining CS degree requirements can be directed to the CS advising team.

The minimum requirements for transferring from SE to BCS are outlined on the Transfer to CS website.

Applications for SE students applying to transfer into BCS or BMath are submitted online.

To access the application click on the ‘Application’ button below and then select ‘Transfer from Software Engineering to Math or CS’.

Applications should be submitted in the term prior to the term you wish to join Math/CS.

Applications for spring 2024 will open on January 22, 2024.

You are strongly encouraged to submit your applications no later than March 22, 2024.

The final deadline to apply for spring 2024 admission is April 19, 2024.

Students who are scheduled to be on a co-op work term for spring 2024 must wait and apply for fall 2024 admission.

Successful applicants will automatically be moved into their new plan without further request for authorization and a notification email will be sent to their campus email accounts by the Registrar’s Office.
