Two definite-term Lecturer positions

The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo invites applications for two definite-term Lecturer positions. These appointments will have an initial term of three years with a possibility of renewal. The appointed Lecturers may be considered for a promotion to an on-going appointment thereafter as Continuing Lecturer if they demonstrate outstanding performance in teaching and service. The expected start date is September 1, 2018.

A PhD or a Masters degree and evidence of excellence in teaching are required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate mathematics education and excellent organizational and communication skills. Duties will include teaching six courses per year in core Mathematics undergraduate courses and service/administrative work within the University.

The salary range for the position is $70,000-$115,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
