Indigenous Learning Circle - Indigenous Culture

Join Elder Myeengun Henry for an Indigenous Learning Circle.  Elder Henry will share this knowledge of Indigenous culture with students, staff, faculty, and postdocs in the Faculty of Math.  All are welcome!

Elder Henry is the Indigenous Knowledge Keeper for the Faculty of Health at University of Waterloo.  He is  a former Chief of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and is an elected band councillor, Indigenous ceremony conductor, traditional medicine practitioner, environmental protectionist, Indigenous counsellor, Pow Wow coordinator, and OPP Indigenous advisor.

Elder Henry is also a member of the UW Indigenous Advisory Circle, which advises the Office of Indigenous Relations on indigenization and decolonization.
