The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition challenges research-based graduate students to articulate the impact and breadth of their research in a 3 minute presentation, using just 1 static power point slide.
University of Waterloo hosts the largest 3MT competition in Canada, with heats taking place at the faculty and university-wide levels. More than 1,000 students have participated since the competition was first introduced to campus in 2013.
Join us March 10 at 10:30 a.m. in DC 1302 for the Math Faculty 3MT Heat. The winner will move forward to represent the faculty in the 3MT University-wide final!
A networking session will follow the Math Heat in the Fishbowl (DC 1301) with refreshments and a light lunch.
