The Waterloo International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) team is always looking for smart and passionate people to share our love for synthetic biology, applied math, and engineering, and now we're recruiting new members for the 2015 team!
The iGEM 2015 Open House is an information session where interested students can come find out about the Waterloo iGEM team. We'll talk about what we've done, what we're excited for in the upcoming year, how you can get involved, and what we're looking for in new team members.
A brief reception will begin at 5:30 pm followed by dinner at 6:00 pm.
At the ceremony, we will honour students who have established outstanding academic records in a number of areas. During the evening, we will honour first year entrance award winners, upper-year Senate Scholarship winners, students who have done well in university competitions, and recipients of numerous one-time awards.
This event is by invitation only.
