Symposium in a lecture hall
The Undergraduate Mathematics Symposium at the University of Illinois at Chicago is set to take place on Saturday, November 13.

The annual one-day meeting focuses on undergraduate mathematical research. Organizers are calling for interested undergraduate students in mathematics to apply to participate in the symposium by November 1.

The online event features invited lectures by mathematical researchers and contributed posters by undergraduates on their own research projects.

Students who have completed an undergraduate mathematical research project, as part of their program or as part of an independent study course, are invited to apply to present a poster about their project at the symposium.

Current undergraduate students and faculty members are also welcome to attend the online symposium by filling out the registration form.

More information can be found on the symposium website. Find below a copy of the event poster.
