The results of the 2016 Putnam Competition have arrived.
The University of Waterloo team did extremely well this year, finishing in 6th place out of 568 institutions.
The top 5 universities were as follows:

The next 5 universities, in alphabetical order, were California Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, University of California - Los Angeles, University of Washington, University of Waterloo.

Many other Waterloo students performed exceptionally well, indeed 26 University of Waterloo students were among the top 501 contestants.
Daniel Spivak was the top University of Waterloo student. He was among the top 10 of 4164 contestants.
