The Department of Combinatorics & Optimization in the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a definite-term Lecturer position. This appointment will have an initial term of three years (renewable). The position would be eligible for promotion to Continuing Lecturer. The expected start date is September 1, 2019.
A PhD degree is highly preferred, and a proven record of excellence in teaching is required. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate mathematics education and excellent organizational and communication skills. Duties will include teaching six courses per year across all undergraduate levels and service/administrative work within the University.
The salary range for the position is $70,000-$100,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
