Why did you choose to study at Waterloo?
Waterloo is well-known for its mathematics and co-op programs and I always enjoyed math so it was rather a natural choice.
What do you like most about being a Senior Math Faculty Ambassador?
I enjoy chatting with prospective students and parents. It's also a great way to meet other people in my faculty and program.
What has been your favourite course so far?
Math 249, it was the whole reason why I switched to my current program.
What do you do on weekends?
Play squash, curling, try different sushi restaurants, cook elaborate meals then binge watch TV shows while eating the food I cooked.
What are you planning to do after you graduate?
I plan to continue higher-education and eventually conduct research at a university.
Advice for first-year students
Don't worry too much about finding out exactly what you like. It's sometimes worth it to discover what you don't like.
