The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Waterloo is offering a series of four, 90-minute sessions to help you prepare for the Euclid Contest. These sessions are based on the eight modules given in the Preparation Materials for the CSMC and Euclid Contest. Each session will cover two of these modules. It is expected that you will be familiar with the mathematical content covered in the modules.
The focus of these sessions will be on problem-solving strategies and contest questions related to this content. We will have fun solving problems together and discussing possible approaches. We will give some recommended problems to solve on your own after each session. Students who spend their time solving these problems will benefit more from these sessions. These sessions are aimed at students of grades 11-12 from all over the world who are interested in participating in the Euclid 2025 math contest taking place on April 2 and April 3, 2025.
