We’re excited to have you, family and classmates celebrate the 314th day of the year in Seattle with Stephen M. Watt, Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics. Come celebrate the impact mathematics makes on the everyday life of people, in addition to being the basis for computing, learning, and fun…something that the Faculty of Mathematics and Microsoft have in common!
Do you remember polyhedra from your time at Waterloo Math? Prof. Benoit Charbonneau will be leading a fun, family-friendly “hands-on” workshop building polytopes to highlight a new mathematical art installation coming to Mathematics 3. Other activities, and access to the Microsoft Visitor Center (and all of its’ interactive fun), will be available.
As a special bonus, Amelia Burton, one of our Recruitment and Admissions Specialists will be available to answer any questions you, or your prospective student, might have about Waterloo programs!
We’ll bring the fun, refreshments and pie – you bring the family.
We are offering two event times 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Space is limited, please register to let us know you will attend.
