Professor Mei Nagappan received an early career achievement award from the chairs of the International Conference on Mining Software Repositories. The award recognizes research outputs from exceptional candidates during early stages of their career.
In their letter to Nagappan, MSR 2018 Award Chairs Professor Massimiliano Di Penta of the University of Sannio in Benevento, Italy and Christian Bird, Researcher, Microsoft Research, wrote, “The award committee — composed of seven senior researchers in software engineering and chaired by the two of us — carefully evaluated all nominations and enclosed recommendation letters.
