Ameesha is a third year Bioinformatics co-op student at the University of Waterloo. Initially starting her university career in the Faculty of Science majoring in Biology, Ameesha has found a way to bridge her love of biology and computer science through the Bioinformatics program. Through co-op, Ameesha has had the opportunity to travel internationally while gaining work experience in the field that she loves.

Flora is a fourth year Mathematics/Chartered Professional Accountancy co-op student at the University of Waterloo. Through co-op, Flora has had the opportunity to figure out how different organizations and teams work to determine what will be the best fit for her in the future. Next term, Flora will be living in Velocity where she will work with industry professionals to start her own business idea.

I did my 3A semester abroad in Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Initially, I was quite hesitant of leaving my friends and family and travelling on my own in a stranger country. The idea of living out of a suitcase was very unsettling. Now, ever since I came back I could only think of how fulfilling those four months have been.

I was luckily placed in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), one of the top universities in Hong Kong for Computer Science. Although Hong Kong is known for its loud and busy city lifestyle, CUHK is built in the northern parts of Hong Kong, which gave the campus scenic views from every angle.
