This project introduces 2-stage testing in two large undergraduate courses (>300 students each).
This project introduces a hands-on approach where students use GenAI in structured design and business activities.
This project examines the impact of a short, (approx. 30 minutes to complete) online learning module designed to enhance students’ understanding of GenAI and responsible use in academic contexts.
This research aims to (1) develop GenAI usage strategies that could enhance the creativity of design teams (2) create a workshop or course activity where students can explore these strategies to enhance their AI and design literacies.
This project will evaluate the effectiveness of two empathy workshop formats: (1) an instructor-focused empathy workshop to enable instructors to integrate empathy skill development in their own courses and (2) a student-focused empathy workshop to increase student empathy skills.
This project introduces embroidery as an innovative and embodied pedagogical approach to teach complex, emotionally-charged topics such as political conflicts and war in architecture and urbanism.
The proposed project will evaluate the effectiveness of using AI-based virtual standardized patients to support applied skills development for behaviour change counselling in clinical kinesiology.
